Good Evening Team LGA,
We were notified this week by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey that the Terminal C and D Parking Garage is full most days of the week as passenger volume continues to return to LGA. As a consequence, the Proximity Cards issued to our workforce will be deactivated for the Terminal C D Parking Garage on Monday 24 May, 2021 at 0001. Free parking at the Terminal C and D Parking Garage will no longer be available to our workforce after 0001 on Monday.
Free parking will still be available to our workforce (via the Proximity Cards) in the Terminal B Parking Garage, where shuttles are available for transit to Terminal C and D.
Due to the sudden change in parking and to help the work force acclimate to the Terminal-B parking garage from the normal of parking garages C & D terminals, TSA LGA Senior Leadership will provide in addition to Port Authority shuttle busses the TSA shuttle van.
LGA Shuttle Van will provide service to Terminals C & D from 0300 -0430 hours for the AM shift.
LGA Shuttle Van will provide service to Terminals C & D from 1100-1230 hours for the PM shift.
There will be NO TSA shuttle service on the weekends or May 31, 2021. Port Authority shuttle service is 24 hours.
TSA Shuttle van will be stationed at Terminal B Garage level (3) by the walk-bridge.
Please note this service will be in effect: May 24,2021 thru June 18,2021 in order for the workforce to allow themselves time to adjust to parking at Terminal-B.
