Direct Deposit Salary Payments - New Year's Day
The direct deposit/electronic funds transfer (DD/EFT) of Transportation Security Administration (TSA) employees’ pay occurs on the second Monday after the close of a pay period (PP). However, when a Federal holiday falls on that Monday, the direct deposit date becomes Tuesday.
Because New Year’s Day will be observed as a Federal holiday on Monday, January 2,
2017, the direct deposit date for PP25, 2016, will occur on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. You
may want to check with your financial institution to see if the holiday and the one-day delay further impact your availability of funds.
