New York State Governor Cuomo has declared a travel ban for downstate New York. The New York City Mayor has imposed a travel ban as of 14:30 on 1/23/16. MTA buses have been suspended. LIRR, MetroNorth and MTA elevated train lines will be suspended as of 1600 on 1/23/16.
Personnel are reminded that even though there may be a travel ban they are designated as a Federal Emergency Response Official as denoted on your PIV card. This is to be used only for responding in or returning from work.
