NYC Alternate Parking and Sanitation

Notification issued at 1/24/16 at 5:40 PM. Mayor Bill de Blasio today announced that the suspension of Alternate Side Parking rules has been extended until Monday, February 1. In addition, cars currently parked adjacent to schools in "No Standing - School Hours" zones are permitted to remain there until Wednesday, January 27. 

Drivers are encouraged to keep their cars parked, avoid unnecesssary driving, and avoid shoveling snow into the street during storm clean-up. 

Curbside collection of trash and recycling will be suspended on Monday, January 25 as Sanitation crew focus on snow removal.
