Owner of TSA Office Building offer lunches.

QUEENS BOROUGH PRESIDENT JOINS BLUMENFELD DEVELOPMENT GROUP AND LESSING’S CAFÉ TO PROVIDE LUNCH FOR EMPLOYEES OF TRANSPORTATION SECURITY ADMINISTRATION (TSA) AT THE BULOVA CORPORATE CENTER BEGINNING TUESDAY, JANUARY 22, 2019

 

Federal employees based out of Queens Corporate Center and impacted by

Government shutdown provided weekly lunch for duration of the government shutdown

 

As America experiences the longest government shutdown in its history, federal workers across the country are feeling the stress of either being furloughed or working without pay. The Queens Borough President Melinda Katz, Brad Blumenfeld, Vice President, Blumenfeld Development Group (BDG) and Ian Wilde, General Manager, Lessing’s Bulova are joining together to try and alleviate some of the stress the tenants at Bulova Corporate Center are currently feeling under these circumstances.

Beginning on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 11:30 a.m., at the Bulova Corporate Center (75-20 Astoria Blvd, Queens), the two New York businesses will provide lunches to approximately 225 federal employees working for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agency. BDG and Lessing Café will continue to provide lunches for the agencies once a week for the duration of the shutdown.
