I want to take this opportunity to wish all of you a very happy, safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving. This is a time to give thanks for all that we have been blessed with throughout the year, and to enjoy time with family and friends.
Many of you will be working on Thanksgiving Day to protect those people who will be flying from one of our four airports. To you I give a sincere “thank you very much” for your commitment to the TSA mission and to the oath that you took to protect and defend our nation, including on this holiday. You are sacrificing your holiday so that others can enjoy theirs. Your dedication, sacrifice and service are most admirable, and deeply appreciated.
It is with great pride that I serve as your Federal Security Director, as it is a true privilege to lead all of you. I thank you all for a job well done. Again, I wish you and your families all the best this Thanksgiving.
