Parking for LGA TSA Personnel Personal Vehicles enrolled in the Parking Benefits Program
LGA TSA Management has been negotiating with the PANYNJ and are pleased to announce that effective 0001 on Sunday April 15th 2018 TSA personnel enrolled in the parking benefits program will be allowed to park in the West Parking Garage Level 6 (or otherwise guided by Parking Lot Staff). This is for personnel already in the Parking Benefits program only. You must have your hand tag available.
The West Parking Garage is the new parking garage to the west of Terminal B. This affords TSA personnel a covered, secure location to park their vehicles close to the Terminals. Personnel assigned to Terminals C & D can park and take the purple shuttle to those terminals. Lot 10 will still be available should Terminal A personnel wish to park there.
With the closing of the 27th Avenue foot bridge, this closer means of parking, it is hoped that personnel will forgo trying to park in the neighborhood and utilize the covered and secured parking area. Not only is your vehicle more secured, it is covered from the elements, our neighbors will be much happier and our personnel more secure than walking a distance.
DHS policy dictated that personnel cannot be in the transit benefits and parking benefits program at the same time.
