Alert Warning System (AWS)/ Recall Exercise

On Tuesday, September 6th, beginning at 0900 hrs, the Coordination Center will conduct a test of the Alert Warning System (AWS)/ Recall Exercise. Alerts will be sent to all via phone (desk, government and /or personal cell), SMS text, and email. Please be advised, during this time, the AWS system will alert personal and government devices until a response has been received by the system. Choose the best option available. The alert will go on to the next device if the first was not answered and so on. For those receiving the alerts for the first time, an explanation below describes how the alerts are received per device type.
